Phil Spencer, Microsoft Game Studios boss has today confirmed via an interview with Gamespot that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will support the Kinect in one form or another.
“Core focus for us in our press briefing this year with Kinect actually came from two sides,” Said Spencer in the interview, followed by “As a first-party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse. Even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.”
He continued, “The interesting thing with the amount of original content that creators came to the show with – things like what Mass Effect did, Ghost Recon – we didn’t know that was going to be on our stage when we started our E3 planning.”
Phil Spencer previously commented that all first-party Xbox games should support Kinect to make navigation easier for the gamers.
Halo: CE will be released on the Xbox 360 November 15th. I am very excited for the game and cannot wait to see how Kinect will be implemented! Let us know what you think below.
